Contracting through TRC
Where can I download a copy of TRC Group's timesheet?
A PDF version of TRC's timesheet can be downloaded here.
No, you are also able to contract through TRC as a PAYG employee. You still receive the same contracting rate but for tax purposes you are an employee of TRC. We will calculate and pay tax and superannuation on your behalf. Another option is to contract through a management company. Please speak to your consultant who will be able to discuss options to maximize your earnings from your contract.
I am a sole trader, can I contract through TRC?
For legal and insurance reasons we are only able to work with contractors who contract through a Pty Ltd company or who are PAYG employees of TRC. Your consultant will be able to discuss options with you.
When will I receive my Group certificate?
You will receive your group certificate soon after the end of the financial year (June 30th). You will receive a group certificate from TRC regardless of the duration of your contract.
Which date would I get paid?
Please click here for a copy of current pay dates. TRC pays contractors on a fortnightly or monthly basis.
Does TRC offer Super Choice?
Yes, TRC adheres to Government legislation regarding Super Choice.
Can I be sponsored by TRC?
At this stage, due to changes to immigration laws, TRC is unable to sponsor contractors. If you require sponsorship please speak to your consultant who may be able to introduce you to clients who will sponsor directly. TRC is able to sponsor internal staff members.
I'm having problems with the eTimesheet system who do I call?
Call TRC reception on 02 8346 6700. They will be able to direct you to the most relevant support person.
I am working in an unsafe environment, who do I speak to?
Please contact your consultant who will be able to investigate and take appropriate action.
Engaging TRC as a recruitment partner
When engaging contractors what does the charge rate consist of? Are there any hidden costs?
When representing candidates to you your consultant will quote a rate. This rate incorporates the following components:
- Contractor rate (including super)
- Payroll tax
- Insurance
- Any other statuatory charges
- Agency margin
The only additional charge is GST. There are no hidden additional charges
